TN ITI Admission 2024: Minimum Qualification & Requirements
Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission 2024: Enrollment for vocational training institutes (ITI) in Tamil Nadu for the year 2024 is now open, courtesy of the Department of Employment and Training DE (DET) TN ITI Admission. This year, there are a total of 102 Government Vocational Training Centers and 305 Private Vocational Training Centers under the purview of the Employment and Training Department. The selection process for coaches for the academic year 2024-2025 has been successfully conducted online and wrapped up on June 28, 2024.
For prospective students, direct admissions are available to those who have completed either 8th or 10th grade. The enrollment period for these vocational training centers will run from July 1, 2024, to July 15, 2024. Students who are interested can personally visit these centers with their certificates to choose their desired profession and kickstart their vocational training journey.
Throughout the years, a substantial number of apprentices trained at vocational institutes in Tamil Nadu have transitioned to secure employment at various renowned industrial establishments. The Government Vocational Training Institutes offer apprenticeships in modern industries, with a focus on Industry 4.0 standards crucial for today’s evolving industrial sector. TN ITI Admission 2024: How to apply online?
For the year 2024, individuals interested in Tamil Nadu ITI Admission to Vocational Training Institutes should carefully watch the instructional video and manual before completing the application form.
During the admission process at the vocational training center, it is crucial to have all original certificates ready for submission. Failure to present these documents will result in the disqualification of the application.
The applicant bears the responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of all information uploaded. Any inconsistencies may lead to rejection by the relevant authorities at any stage of the procedure.
When completing the application, it is essential to have the following documents readily available:
- Candidate’s Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
Make sure to provide a valid and unique email address and phone number as they are unchangeable and will be utilized for future communication. - Verify that these particulars are not already registered on the website.
- The Date of Birth should indicate that the candidate will be at least 14 years old by 01.08.2024.
- Include information regarding Community/Caste (ST/SCA/SC/MBC/DNT/BCM/BC).
An Aadhaar number is mandatory for submission.

TN ITI Admission 2024: Required Documents
Please provide the necessary details to complete the online application fee payment (accepted methods include Debit card, credit card, Gpay, and Net banking). Parents of 10th-grade students are required to register the 9th-grade marks for the year 2021.
Ensure that you scan and store the following documents in JPEG format with a file size ranging from 50 kb to 100 kb:
- Mark Sheets for 8th and 10th grades
- Transfer Certificate
- Community or Caste Certificate
- Priority Reservation Certificate
- Migration Certificate (for candidates relocating from other states).
Remember to scan and prepare your passport-sized photographs and signatures in JPG format as well (Photo size: 50kb to 100kb, Signature size: 10kb to 20kb). You can find the EMIS No. on the student’s Transfer Certificate or School ID card.
