SSC CHSL Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for various positions in the SSC CHSL Exam 2024, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications. For the roles of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO)/DEO Grade ‘A’ (excluding DEOs in certain Departments/Ministries), applicants must have completed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. Moreover, those aiming to become Data Entry Operators (DEOs)/DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and the Ministry of Culture must have passed the 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or its equivalent.
Candidates interested in these positions should be between 18 to 27 years old, which means they must have been born between 02-08-1997 and 01-08-2006 to be considered eligible. Furthermore, age relaxation beyond the upper age limit is possible according to the prevailing rules and regulations.
SSC CHSL Exam 2024 Salary Package
The SSC CHSL Exam 2024 offers competitive salary packages for various positions, ensuring financial stability and growth opportunities for successful candidates. In the case of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), individuals can expect a pay scale set at Pay Matrix Level-2, with a basic pay starting at Rs. 19,900. Those stationed in metro cities can enjoy a total salary package reaching Rs. 37,845.
Similarly, Data Entry Operators (DEOs) are positioned at Pay Matrix Level-5, with a basic pay beginning at Rs. 29,200. For DEOs stationed in metro cities, the total salary reaches an attractive sum of Rs. 57,960.
Moreover, Data Entry Operator Grade A positions come with a pay scale at Pay Matrix Level-4, offering a basic pay of Rs. 25,500. When placed in metro cities, individuals in this role can anticipate a total salary package amounting to Rs. 51,300, providing a rewarding and stable career path for successful candidates.
