TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Vacancy Details 2024

We are on the lookout for Category-I Graduate Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, particularly in Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. There are 18 positions available for these apprenticeships. Each apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000, which will assist them financially throughout their training. The apprenticeship lasts for one year, offering participants the chance to acquire essential practical skills in their respective areas.

In addition, we have openings for Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, with a focus on Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. A total of 61 training positions are up for grabs for those eager to embark on this specialized journey. Throughout their training, apprentices will earn a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to aid their educational advancement. This one-year program is designed to provide ample opportunities for hands-on experience and in-depth learning in their chosen discipline.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024

For Category I, Graduate Apprentices are expected to have an Engineering or Technology degree (Regular – Full time) awarded by a recognized Statutory University in the relevant field. Alternatively, candidates may also be eligible with a degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) from an institution authorized by an Act of Parliament in the pertinent discipline, or via a graduate assessment from professional organizations acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as being on par with the previously mentioned qualifications.

In contrast, Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices are required to possess a Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education set up by the State Government in the applicable field. They may also qualify with a Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) from a university in the relevant area, or a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an institution recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to the earlier stated qualifications.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist using the information provided in online applications. Selection will be determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the necessary basic qualifications for each discipline. Individuals who make it to the shortlist will be informed via their registered email. Subsequently, these candidates are required to attend a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.

If you’re a student who has already signed up on the previous National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details, please enter “A.”

Step 1:
a. Visit the link https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Select the option for Students
c. Click on Student login
d. Choose Forgot Password
e. Enter your registered email to receive an activation link and reset your password.

Step 2:
a. Log in as a student
b. Provide your registered email and set a new password
c. Complete the application form
d. You will be given a unique 12-digit Enrollment number.

Once you finish enrolling on the new portal:
To apply:
a. Log in with your email and new password
b. Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and search for “TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT”
c. Click apply; you’ll see your status change to “applied.”
