For those interested in the Yantrik position, a 10th-grade qualification from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) is necessary. Additionally, they must hold a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering for a duration of either 3 or 4 years approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Alternatively, candidates can fulfill the requirements by completing both the 10th and 12th grades from a COBSE-recognized education board “AND” obtaining a 2 or 3-year AICTE-approved Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering.

Structure for Indian Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik Salary 2024
General Duty candidates entering the Navik role are entitled to a monthly salary of Rs. 21,700 at Pay Level 3, inclusive of Dearness Allowance and supplementary allowances based on their assigned responsibilities and work location as per existing regulations.
Conversely, Yantrik recruits receive a base monthly pay of Rs. 29,200 at Pay Level 5, augmented by Yantrik pay totaling Rs. 6,200, in addition to Dearness Allowance and various allowances based on the nature of their duties and posting location as per the current guidelines in place.
