Application Fees for BSF Group B and C Recruitment 2024

Individuals interested in pursuing the SI (Master/Engine Driver) position are obligated to provide an examination fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only), whereas those aspiring for HC (Master/Engine Driver/Workshop) & Constable (Crew) roles are expected to remit Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only). These charges can be settled through various payment avenues such as net banking from any bank, credit/debit cards issued by any bank, or by physically visiting the nearest Common Service Centre. Furthermore, a service fee of Rs.47.20/- will be levied by the Common Service Centre (CSC) on all applicants, without exception to exempted categories, ensuring a seamless and effective payment procedure for all candidates.

BSF Group B and C Recruitment Salary Structure 2024

In the year 2024, the salary structure for BSF Group B and C positions presents attractive compensation packages. The Sub-Inspector (Master) and (Engine Driver) roles offer a salary bracket ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 at Level 6. As we move to the Head Constable (Master), (Engine Driver), and (Workshop) positions, the salary lies within the span of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 at Level 4. Lastly, the Constable (Crew) position commands a salary scale starting from Rs. 21,700 and reaching up to Rs. 69,100 at Level 3. Furthermore, they should hold a 2nd class master certificate issued by either the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

In the case of SI (Engine Driver), the educational prerequisites encompass a 10+2 qualification or its equivalent from an accredited Board or University, in conjunction with a 1st class engine driver certificate provided by the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

Prospective applicants eyeing the HC (Master) role must possess a Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board or its equivalent, along with a Serang Certificate.

Similarly, individuals vying for the HC (Engine Driver) position must possess a Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board or equivalent, alongside a 2nd class Engine Driver certificate.

For those interested in the HC (Workshop) position, educational credentials mandate a Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board or equivalent. Additionally, candidates must have completed an Industrial Training Institute Diploma in various disciplines like Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpentry & Plumbing for specific roles within the HC (Workshop) category.

As for applicants seeking the post of Constable Crew, they must have attained Matriculation from a recognized Board or its equivalent, possess a minimum of one year of experience in operating a Boat below 265 HP, and exhibit adeptness in swimming proficiently in deep water unassisted.
